Join us for a two-part immersive masterclass, presented by DNA Detective Michelle Leonard of Genes & Genealogy and hosted by Family Tree. Michelle will share the research strategies she uses in the course of her professional research to trace unknown parents, enabling you to make progress with your DNA family history searches and find the information you seek.

Tracing mystery parents is one of the key uses of DNA by family history researchers, and is a research specialism of the masterclass tutor, Michelle Leonard, who has many years of experience using DNA to help people trace missing family, including foundlings in search of their roots. The skills and search strategies that Michelle will teach will be useful to people tracing close family and also useful to those wishing to learn how to use DNA to enhance their wider family history too.

The Masterclass, 'Using DNA to Solve Unknown Parentage Mysteries' will take place live, online, on Zoom on:

Wednesday 3rd April 2024, 7-9pm

& Wednesday 17th April 2024, 7-9pm.

The masterclass will be tutored by Michelle Leonard, with a live presentation, followed by time for questions hosted by Family Tree.

The masterclass sessions will be provided with detailed accompanying handouts and will be recorded for you to view in your own time.

The recordings will be available to view until 18th May 2024.
