Tune in and - to celebrate Famliy History Week - make the most of the opportunity to enjoy free family history related webinars from the Guild of One-Name Studies
The Guild of One-Name Studies has from 2018 begun offering monthly webinars on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm (UK time). These are available to non-members to listen live and for one week after the event, before becoming a members benefit.
To celebrate with Family Tree, and the launch of Family History Week, the Guild of One-Name Studies is opening its webinars to all - to Guild members and to non-members - until 22nd April.
Webinars are a really useful and enjoyable way to learn about family history from the comfort of your own home, or when you're out and about with your smart phone.
The webinars available include family history topics such as:
- What We Do: An Introduction to One-Name Studies & the Guild with Peggy Chapman, Paul Featherstone, Julie Goucher, Karen Rogers & Tessa Keough, representing our international focus
- The Joy of Surnames with renowned speaker, Debbie Kennett
- Gathering Data: Where to Look & Where to Put It with Paul Howes and Paul Featherstone
- Now What? Do Something with Your Data with Howard Mattieson
Looking to the future, Using DNA with your Study with renowned speaker, Maurice Gleeson will be aired on 17th May.
