Who Do You Think You Are? Live 2016 is now just a week away and we're counting down with seven of the best family history experts, who are each presenting lectures at the show.
First up is our very own genealogy superstar, Mary Evans, who will be demolishing family history 'brickwalls' at the NEC on Friday 8th April.
Love them or hate them, we all have those seemingly insurmountable conundrums in our genealogy research. But listen to Mary's lecture and you will definitely pick up valuable information and research advice to help you solve those puzzles.
Many of you will know Mary from our family history forum. And she also comes to FT readers' aid on our Q&A pages. Expertly working away behind the scenes, Mary has also helped to research several of those celebrity family histories we love to watch on 'Who Do You Think You Are?'.
You can catch Mary's talk on Friday 8th April at 2.15pm-3pm in the Society of Genealogists' main theatre (SoG 1) at the show. And for a taster of just how helpful she is, read an article we ran in Family Tree by Mary on beating those brickwalls - click the links below:
Visitors to the show are advised to book workshop tickets in advance for the best value for money as workshops will all be at £3 on the day (£2 in advance). Show and workshop tickets can be booked at www.whodoyouthinkyouarelive.com, or call 0844 873 7330. Calls cost 7p per minute plus network charges. If you haven't got your show tickets yet, there's still a few days left to get two tickets for £26 (£2.25 transaction fee applies). Quote code FT26 when booking. This offer ends 5 April, so be quick!
