Genealogy fans get ready - there's just four weeks to go until the world’s leading family history show, Who Do You Think You Are? Live, takes place at London's Olympia, sponsored by Ancestry.co.uk. There are lots of exciting things planned at the biggest event in the UK genealogy calendar, which takes place from 20-22 February 2014. There's a fantastic workshop programme provided by The Society of Genealogists supported by TheGenealogist.co.uk, celebrity speakers from the television series and talks from the likes of The National Archives, plus a daily keynote workshop to tie in with the Imperial War Museums’ Lives of the First World War centenary project. New this year is SOG Studio 4 - a stream of workshops devoted to subjects relating to World War I. As always, a vast array of exhibitors are attending, ranging from family history societies, museums and archives to all the big genealogy websites and individual companies, to offer free help, advice and workshops, providing a one-stop shop for your research queries and needs.

Meet the team
We always love to meet our readers and hear your family history stories, so make sure you come and see us at the Family Tree stand (ground floor, stand 320), where we'll be kicking off our 30th birthday celebrations. We'll have great freebies on offer to anyone subscribing to Family Tree at the show, plus a special gift for our existing subscribers who visit us any time over the three days. Our wonderful photo-dating expert Jayne Shrimpton, who writes for Family Tree every issue, will be joining us on our stand on Saturday 22 February, so don’t forget to bring along your old family photos for her to analyse. Jayne, who's latest book Tracing Your Ancestors Through Family Photographs has just been published by Pen & Sword and is already a best-seller, can give you vital clues to help you identify your ancestors in portraits and photos. If you're not attending the show on Saturday, don't worry, because Jayne will be photo-dating on the Genes Reunited stand on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st. If you have military photos you need help with, take them along to Who Do You Think You Are? Live's upstairs Photography Gallery, where Family Tree author and historian Neil Storey - author of Military Photographs & How to Date Them - will be among the experts. As always, our popular Family History Bookshop will be selling its wares on stand 510, so you can stock up on your essential genealogy reads.
