Session 2
Tue 14 Apr: See your ancestors’ world more clearly
Discover how historical maps can transform your understanding of where your ancestors lived, using the powerful “Ancestral Walks” technique.
Session 3
Tue 21 Apr: Make sense of your evidence
Learn how to analyse and interpret your historical evidence more effectively using the simple but powerful “Three Cs” method.
Session 4
Tue 28 Apr: Break through brick walls using siblings and relatives
Break through research problems by exploring siblings and other relatives to uncover new clues and enrich your family history.

Dr Sophie Kay is a professional genealogist and geneticist at Khronicle, working across DNA and archival research.
She is the Ancestry and Genealogy Expert for Time Team, Scientist in Residence for The Mixed Museum, and a Member of AGRA.
Sophie is known for making family history research clearer, more methodical and more rewarding — helping researchers build skills they can use with confidence.
