New County Westmeath records added to RootsIreland website

Westmeath genealogy centre (Dún na Sí Heritage Centre) have added over 13,000 records to their database at RootsIreland.

County Westmeath is part of the Midland region of Ireland and is known as the 'lake county' because of an abundance of lakes, rivers and streams. It is an inland county within the province of Leinster.

The new records are:

Clara Horseleap Updates

Hundreds of marriage records for the Roman Catholic Parish of Clara Horseleap have been updated. Marriages dating from November 1821 to October 1833 have been updated with witness names, full date of event and any other recorded information.
