3 million + death and burial records for England added to FamilySearch database

FamilySearch has announced that more than 3 million death and burial records for England have been added to its online collections.

England burial records (1998-2015)

This collection of recent burial records comprises some 3,293,133 records and was compiled was compiled by Wilmington Millennium from various funeral homes in England. This index contains names, death dates, and places. Explore here.

74,000 Northumberland records (1538-1950)

Explore more than four centuries of Northumberland parish registers. The original records are held at the Woodhorn Museum and Northumberland Archives. Also new this week are Northumberland Non-Conformist Church records for 1613-1920.

Yorkshire Marriage Bonds and Allegations (1613-1887)

Church of England marriage bonds and allegations from the Diocese of York and Diocese of Ripon both in Yorkshire from 1613 to 1887 here. The original records are held at the Borthwick Institute.
