📘 Your workbook & handouts

Throughout the course, downloadable materials will be provided to support your learning. These include:

  • Your digital copy of the Family History Research Skills Workbook by Dr Sophie Kay
  • Weekly handouts, available in advance of each webinar so you can use them during the live sessions (we recommend that you download them and print them if you wish, in advance of the session).

The weekly live webinars and follow-up group discussions will be added to this hub page on the morning after each live session. These recordings will be password protected using the password provided to you.

The course takes place on Zoom. Each week includes a live webinar (approximately 1 hour), followed by a group discussion (approximately 30 minutes).

  • Tuesday 7 April 2026, 7.30–9.00pm (UK time) — Webinar 1
  • Tuesday 14 April 2026, 7.30–9.00pm (UK time) — Webinar 2
  • Tuesday 21 April 2026, 7.30–9.00pm (UK time) — Webinar 3
  • Tuesday 28 April 2026, 7.30–9.00pm (UK time) — Webinar 4

Your Zoom links: you will receive your Zoom webinar link by email for the weekly 7.30pm webinars, at least 72 hours before the first session takes place.
