#HistoryForUkraine kicked off UK lunchtime Saturday 26th March, for a 24 hour marathon of online talks to raise funds for the Ukraine Appeal. At the time of writing, an impressive £48,000 had been raised by the history & genealogy community!
Thanks to the stupendous organisation skills and energies of the #HistoryForUkraine team, the #HistoryForUkraine event provided an opportunity for the history and genealogy community to do a little something to help. It was an event made possible due to the generosity of speakers from the history and genealogy communities worldwide, giving their time freely to speak and share their live talks for us all to enjoy, and the behind-the-scenes team freely giving time and expertise to pull it all together in an extremely tight timeframe.
The live event may be over, but it's not too late for you to join in.
