The Federation of Family History Societies (FFHS) has announced the overall winner of its Best Website award, sponsored by Family
The Federation of Family History Societies (FFHS) has announced the overall winner of its Best Website award, sponsored by Family Tree, as New Zealand Society of Genealogists (www.genealogy.org.nz). The overall winner of the Elizabeth Simpson award for Best Journal was The Genealogical Society of Victoria Inc (www.gsv.org.au). In a separate announcement, the FFHS revealed that Roger Lewry has stood down as Archives Liaison Officer, Legislative Monitoring Officer and Chairman of the Archives Liaison Committee, having served for seven years as member of the Executive Committee.
Beryl Evans succeeds Roger as Chairman of the Archives Liaison Committee.
