Join us for the March Family Tree Brickwalls Club meeting, at which researcher David Ryan will be speaking about the steps to take, to ensure you are best-prepared to make the most of the forthcoming 1926 Census.

David Ryan will be touching on what to expect from the 1926 Census – which areas of Ireland are included, and which aren’t. He’ll be inviting you to ensure you have made the most of the pre-existing family history records already available, so that you’re armed with names, ages and places with which to search this newly available census (due out 18 April 2026), and he’ll be encouraging you to think of where else you might seek further clues about your family in Ireland

When & where?
The meeting will take place on Zoom, on Monday 16 March, 18.30pm (UK time)

About the speaker

David Ryan’s interest in family history came about through a love of history but also just from growing up with listening to his parents and grandparents regularly discussing their extended family. He wanted to understand more about who they were and where his family came from.
