Join us for the February Family Tree Brickwalls Club webinar, at which Helen Tovey will interviewing genealogical novelist Nathan Dylan Goodwin about his latest mystery crime – The Hop-Picker Murders, discussing the both how he does the research, and how to tell a great history-inspired story.
• How did he go about researching an occupation from the past in such detail?
• To what extent is the novel based on true events?
• Which – perhaps unexpected – records did Nathan love using to help to research the story?
• Which tactics do Morton and Nathan both use?
• Plus there will of course be time for you to ask Nathan your questions too.
If you’d love to step inside the creative mind of genealogist and novelist Nathan Dylan Goodwin to learn more about both the nuts and bolts of doing thorough, research, and the skills to weave an evocative, exciting story inspired by real people, lives and events, come along to the January Brickwalls Club meeting.
