Q The Northern Ireland FHS enjoys getting out and about. What are some of the events the society participates in?
A (Maeve Rogan) Volunteers from NIFHS usually attend the Back To Our Past show in Dublin each year and are looking forward to the show being in Belfast for the first time in February 2018 at the award-winning Titanic building. The society also runs an annual open day and arranges branch outings for members too. Back at base, the society has a research centre at Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, from where we run a full programme of courses, with several events each week.
