What you could win

• An initial Zoom consultation with David to discuss the research brief
  (This will take place at a mutually convenient time to the winner and David before 31 January 2025).
• A research report, by David Annal, presenting his findings and conclusions
  (The research report will be provided to the winner by 14 March 2025).
• Please note that, in order for David to research to his optimum, we recommend that, should you win, you provide a family history question with a focus on England. We will endeavour to hold future prize draws to cover Scotland, Wales, Ireland and diaspora family.

About David Annal

Widely known and highly respected for his wealth of genealogy knowledge and experience, David Annal has four decades of family history research experience. He is former principal family history specialist at The National Archives, in 2019 he was awarded a Fellowship of the Society of Genealogists and in 2022 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He now runs his own research business, Lifelines Research. Each month in Family Tree David shares insights and advice to help family history enthusiasts grow their genealogy knowledge and skills.
