Free access to historical newspapers at FindMyPast to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee

FindMyPast has announced it will make its entire newspaper collection of 50 million pages free in honour of the Platinum Jubilee.

This will be the first time that this vast collection of 50 million pages on FindMyPast has been made available for free.

Access to popular illustrated titles like the Daily Mirror, Illustrated Police News and The Tatler allows researchers to uncover every detail of the queen’s milestone moments as they happened. Rare photos of the queen’s reign can be discovered amongst the pages, which give us snapshots of her relationship with her family, her people, and the Commonwealth.
