Heritage & Culture day at Liverpool Central Library

Forty of Merseyside's cultural and heritage organisations will come together on 26 October with talks and tours, including a session on dating your family history.

The ticketed event will be held at the Picton Reading Room of Liverpool Central Library and begins with a session at 10am with Roger Hull of Liverpool Record Office, looking at how key dates in the city's history might relate to your own family history research.

At noon, Karen O'Rourke will give a talk on the 302 men of the King's Liverpool Regiment who died in World War I, followed by 'The Waterways Archive' with Linda Barley at 2pm.
