JUST 5 MORE DAYS until Who Do You Think You Are? Live kicks off at Birmingham's NEC on 7-9 April!
We're counting down with seven of the best family history experts, who are each presenting lectures at the show. We've already smashed brickwalls with Mary Evans and explored Birmingham with Mike Sharpe, so today we're tracing our family trees further back in time with Celia Heritage.
Professional genealogist Celia Heritage runs The Heritage Family History e-Course, an in-depth, online course aimed at those with English and Welsh ancestors. She is the author of Tracing Your Ancestors Through Death Records and Researching and Locating your Ancestors.
In Family Tree's March 2014 issue Celia showed us how to use probate inventories and explained what these records could add to our family history research. Read the full article now by clicking on the link below:
Celia is presenting two talks at this year's Who Do You Think You Are? Live. 'The Golden Rules! Good Research Techniques' can be seen on Thursday 7th April at 2.50pm-3.10pm or Friday 8th April at 2.50pm-3.10pm in The Education Zone. 'Tracing a 16th and 17th century family tree' can be seen in the SoG Theatre 2 at 3.15pm-4pm on Saturday 9th April.
Visitors to the show are advised to book workshop tickets in advance for the best value for money as workshops will all be at £3 on the day (£2 in advance).
