Dame Judi Dench unearths Danish roots and some intriguing Shakespearean connections in the 19 October 2021 episode of Who Do You Think You Are? on BBC One.
The new seven-part series of the popular show features celebrities Ed Balls, Dame Judi Dench, Pixie Lott, Joe Lycett, Alex Scott, Joe Sugg and Josh Widdicombe, all of whom will explore different aspects of their family history, guided by genealogy experts.
In tonight's episode (19 October 2021) Shakespearean actor, movie star and national treasure Dame Judi Dench seizes the chance to find out about her forebears, starting with her father, Reginald - who never spoke of his experiences during the First World War.

Travelling further into her family history, Judi’s investigations lead her to 16th-century Denmark and nobility, where to her delight she discovers some incredible Shakespearean links.
