Janet will use examples for groups of people including those such as the sick, prostitutes, those accused of crimes, those in asylums, the poor, the illegitimate and others who were stigmatised by society.

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom and begins at 6.30pm UK time on 18 April. It will last 1 hour 30 mins (inclusive of questions time).

Speaker details

Dr Janet Few is a family, social and community historian, educator and author of both fiction and non-fiction.

She is a tutor for Pharos Teaching and Tutoring, for whom she runs several family history courses. You might also find Janet living in the seventeenth century as her alter ego, Mistress Agnes. Currently, Janet is serving as the President of the Family History Federation. You can find out more about her work at her website, The History Interpreter.
