Learn about records that can help you understand more about your Irish ancestors’ lives. Roz McCutcheon and Jill Williams look at: - Court records, including Chancery Court and Petty Sessions; - Prison records; - Land records, including cancelled land valuation books and Landed Estate Court records. Roz and Jill also consider records that simply show that your ancestor was ‘from Ireland’. They have some strategies to share with you to pin down where your ancestors were from. They make time at the end of the course for a Questions and Answer session.
