I’ve just set up a blog (”Bartle Kennedy Rutter Stow̶ ;) and have changed the theme to Thoughts. It’s not showing the names of authors of posts, whereas I see that other themes do. Am I missing something, or can you alter something at the hosting site, or do I have to put up with it (or change to another theme)? Thanks - Arthur

    Hi Arthur,

    Thanks for your question.

The themes do all have their own way of doing things, and yes, it looks like the Thoughts theme doesn’t show the users post name on the individual posts.

Your best solution is indeed to either try another theme or as you say, put up with it.

It is possible for us to edit the code of specific themes but we don’t really have the time to edit each theme to specific requests, this is why we uploaded several themes for people to choose from.

Sorry we couldn’t be more help with this one.

    Chris

Thanks for the prompt reply - at least I know it’s not me! Anyway, I’m still finding my way around, so I expect I’ll be able to find something that suits.
