On the ancestry.co.uk website I have found details of some Watmores and Whatmores who were transported. I have transcribed the main details below, but may have misinterpreted some of the information as I not familiar with these records or with the topic of transportation. Perhaps one of the people listed below was your ancestor? Please let me know.

JAMES WHATMORE  tried 18 March 1810 at Salop Assizes  and transported to New South Wales in January 1812 on board the ‘Guildford’ ( Also shown as James Whatmore the Younger tried 24 March 1810 at Salop Assizes and  sentenced to life transportation to New South Wales  and departed Aug 1811 on board the ‘Guildford’.

FRANCIS WHATMORE tried on 13 July 1826 at Stafford Assizes and sentenced to 7 years transportation to New South Wales. Departed 14 April 1827 on board the ‘Marquis of Hastings’.

THOMAS WHATMORE (born about 1811) tried on 8 March 1828 at Worcester Assizes and sentenced to life transportation in New South Wales. Departed 17 January 1829 on board the ‘Layton’. Later obtained ‘ticket of leave’ and was employed in Sydney.

JOHN WHATMORE (born about 1806) tried on 2 March 1829 at Surrey Assizes and sentenced to 14 years transportation to New South Wales. Deaprted on 20 May 1829 on board the ‘ Norfolk’

ELIZABETH WHATMORE (born about 1792) tried on 17 October 1836 at Worcester City Quarter Sessions and sentenced to 7 years transportation to New South Wales. Departed on 17 July 1837 on board the ‘Henry Wellesley’.

 JAMES WHATMORE (born about 1800) tried 25 March 1837 at Lancaster /Wigan Quarter Sessions and sentenced to life transportation to New South Wales. Departed on 2 October 1837 on board the ‘Waterloo’. Later obtained ‘ticket of leave.’

ELIZABETH SUSAN WATMORE tried 7 Feb 1842 at Lancaster and sentenced to 7 years transportation to Tasmania. Departed 2 May 1842 on board the ‘Royal Admiral’. Later obtained ‘ticket of leave’.
