Advertising Terms

ABM Publish Please read our advertising terms. They are deemed accepted on all insertions.

All advertising must be prepaid.  Advertisers requiring a receipt must send an SAE.

If advertisers do not wish to use their phone numbers or personal names on their adverts, they must give them to our office; we will only pass them on to clients in the case of serious complaints.

Bold capitals at the beginning of adverts will not extend beyond the first line (approximately 26 characters).  Commercial advertisers should bear this in mind when submitting their adverts.  Private advertisers wishing to emphasise further names will need to pay for additional adverts.

Adverts not specifying a specialist area of research will not be inserted in the Ancestral Research column.  They will appear under Miscellaneous. All text for Ancestral Research should begin with the name of the county or area of research.  This policy prevents advertisers commencing their adverts with the letter A in order to gain an unfair advantage over other advertisers.

No alterations, cancellations or refunds will be possible after the deadline for a particular issue.

We reserve the right to refuse or alter adverts at our discretion.

Although every care is taken to avoid mistakes, we do not accept responsibility for clerical errors.
