Buckinghamshire Family History Society's 2012 Open Day
takes place on Saturday 28th July
between 10am and 4pm at The Grange School, Wendover Way, Aylesbury, HP21 7NH (south-east of the town, between the A413 and A41).
Of particular interest to Buckinghamshire researchers there will be the Society's names database, now containing over five million entries
including baptisms, marriages and burials - let us help you track down those elusive ancestors. There will be guest societies from other counties, and many commercial suppliers of software, data CDs, maps, books, archival products and other services.
A talk aimed at those new to family history will be given twice during the day. Help and advice will be freely available, and there will be the opportunity, subject to space, to display your tree and possibly make contact with other researchers.
This is a great event, it's free, and free parking is available at the venue. By bus take Arriva service 50 towards Wendover and RAF Halton as far as Chaucer Drive, about eight minutes walk. Tea and coffee will be available, but please bring a packed lunch.
For more information, check out the Society's website, where you will find a complete listing of all organizations attending:http://www.bucksfhs.org.uk
