I believe that one of my ancestors was a Landlord at The Greets Inn, Warnham, West Sussex.
I have been in touch with the Pub itself but they say they don't have a list of past landlords.
How do I go about getting confirmation that a Gutsell was landlord there ?

Have you tried trade directories? You can access some at www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/ . It's not the easiest of websites to use but if you're patient you can usually find what you're looking for. Mary

I have had a look Mary, but can't see it there.
I don't think it was actually too long ago - probably post World War II.
I was thinking about approaching the relevant Brewery but there is no mention of that on their website !
